HOUSE ANNA OFFICE AND STUDIO PICS
Hey everyone! So I just thought I would post a few pics of my pattern painting corner/workspace/office at mums house which she very kindly let me re-paint. I'm still on the hunt for a lovely new blue and pink patterned carpet (practical, not)....and some blinds....oh and a nice desk lamp - (**update, now found via Aldi, this amazing lamp was only £20 and of course I bought it in gold AND black, see picture at the top of the post**) ...so it's not finished, but here is the progress so far. I have pretty much kept to the original plan but added more of the green and less red, into the mix with this sort of gallery wall above where I'm planning to pin and display all of my artwork and prints.
The wall paints I used were Antionette Pink and Amsterdam Green both very kindly gifted by the wonderful Annie Sloane. I fell in love with these shades when I attended Annie's paint workshop earlier in the Autumn and the colours in her wall paint range are gorgeous!
I'll post some more pics as I go along and add more exciting additions to the design and look of the space but for now (the light was streaming in so I could't get a great shot above!) it's a pretty lovely place to paint patterns and get creative with a view of the rolling fields and hills. I'd love to know what you think and if you're in the process of creating your own home office...
