Following on from my last blog post all about the ever popular pink and blue in interiors, I wanted to carry on marveling at these gorgeous colours and show-case some stunning pink and blue wallpaper designs for you from a very special brand. Tektura often referred to as an "interior designer's best-kept secret" are a London based wall covering company who design and produce high-end wall coverings mainly for the commercial interiors market, which is why you may not have heard of them before.

Tektura have been around since 1964 and are well known in the inner circles of the commercial interior design industry.  I remember my dad using many a Tektura wall covering back in the 80's when we lived in London for some of his developments.   Tektura are hugely respected for their innovation in surface design and their smart and sophisticated collections.  They remain one of the top go-to companies for large scale commercial projects.  Interior designers can choose from a wide range of contract vinyls all the way through to delicate hand-made papers.  The quality is amazing (though the prices are not mad) and you only need a small amount in say an alcove or panel in any one of their designs to create that designery chic and stylish look.  So....

So you're probably wondering what these wall coverings look like and where to buy them. Although Tektura sell mainly to the trade, every collection is available to buy non-trade (i.e. us).  This is a huge revelation.  For so many years I assumed they were trade only.  There is a VAST range of wallpapers available in so many colours, styles and textures; there's something for everyone.  You can order samples via the website and buy decorating tools if you fancy some wallpapering DIY.  If you want to buy wallpapers, however, you will need to ring or email Tektura - an old fashioned way of doing business but I'm a big fan of picking up a phone and speaking with a human anyway.

You'll find a huge selection of colours but as promised I've dedicated this blog post to pink and blue tones.  I'll pop a link to the collection each design is from so you can see some other colour ways and prints if you're after a different look.  The images are BIG so you can see the gorgeous detail.
